December 2009 Update
“The Pastor shared with me that after the Aglow conference in Cantemir, his church witnessed some cases of physical healing” writes Marina Samoil – National Assistant Aglow Moldova – in her latest email to the National Office Britain.
The theme of the conference was “A Voice for the Times” and ladies from Cantemir, Gotesti village, Iepureni village, Larguta village, Comrat, Leova and Cimislia, attended. The conference was also attended by Aglow leaders from Balti, Ialoveni, Chisniau and Floresti who shared testimonies about the work of Aglow in their regions. Luida, Regional Leader in Balti shared how they have started “Generations” in that city.
Marina plans to have a follow-up conference in Cantemir for the women who have chosen to work in the Aglow ministry. At this follow-up conference they will cover topics such as: Unity between Leaders, Attitudes and Relationships, How to Solve Conflicts.
In addition to the conference in Cantemir, the work of the ministry has continued in the local communities through outreach meetings:
visits to hospitals:
Going to speak with homeless people about Jesus:
Sharing the Good News with youngsters at a boarding school for those with special needs:
In Chisinau they held an outreach meeting to which 11 young people came and threemade a commitment to Jesus. The Aglow ladies have followed this up with Bible study groups and the young women have started to go to church and other Christian youth meetings.
