Topgear Ignition! Get Fuelled!

What is 'Topgear Ignition!'? A guys gaming night for cross generational relationship building/interaction through fun, problem solving, games/activities, with a heart to mentor, train and facilitate youth to better deal with life issues by watching how men of faith model Christ.

The focus is; the generations walking together... to turn "hearts of the fathers to the sons and sons to the fathers."

Aim; to bring a fatherless generation into the understanding of being fathered, by fathers in the faith but ultimately their Father in Heaven, so that they come to understand their destiny and purpose, and become trainers and mentors themselves in time.

Why gaming? To provide an opportunity for a deeper language between guys to develop through trust, relationship, and communication so that male issues such as sexuality, debt, work, morality, relationships and spirituality come out naturally as a bi-product of ythat relationship. To provide a healthy Christian resource table which deals with these issues.

We will be using Xbox car racing games, computer link up, Xbox connect, wii games, scalectrix, board games, pool table, climbing wall, carting, and sport.

Started in 2011, we are already seeing more "dads and lads" coming along; fathers and sons are having fun together, building team work and strengthening relationships. One of our autistic boys comes because he loves the games, but more so because he has no dad and loves to get around guys in his otherwise woman's world.
