Reaching out in Pontefract

We shared the love of Jesus…prayed with many people, gave sweets out…tracts and information about Aglow and the Church
Aglow International Pontefract group took part in its seasonal Outreach market stall in Castleford… this time it was for Halloween! Aglow President Chrissie shared that the aim was to show the love of God and to bring light into the darkness…telling people about Jesus.
“I promoted it to the people that attended our Aglow, and to my delight some of the men and women came and supported by serving on the stall and giving out Christian / Aglow / Generations information”
Aglow people donated all kinds of things to sell at bargain prices on the stall, run by Generations youth Ben and Sharon, the Pontefract ladies and the Adviser for Pontefract!
“We shared the love of Jesus…prayed with many people, gave sweets out…tracts and information about Aglow and the Church. We also took their names so that we could pray regularly for them at the Aglow Prayer Meeting."
16 people gave their lives to Jesus, including 2 couples (husbands and wives).
Many people asked for and received prayer… there were lots of tears of joy and repentance!
IT WAS AN AMAZING DAY!
