Romania
The work of Aglow in Romania has been growing and developing over several years, and there is a real excitement about what God is doing in this nation. There are currently 22 active Aglow groups across Romania and they are each reaching their community in different but relevant ways, making a significant difference to real people.
We have had the privilege of recently appointing Lena Galasel as National Assistant, as Lena has served in Aglow for many years at a local, and also at a regional level and carries the Aglow vision for her nation.
Several groups spend time in hospitals, orphanages, abortion clinics and elderly homes, giving of their time, their resources and continually talking about and demonstrating Jesus to them – and there is such fruit from these endeavours!
Working with Muslim women and their children, one of our Aglow leaders is committed to loving these women, helping them develop real life practical skills, and sharing Jesus with them.
There are also fantastic opportunities for Leadership Training in Romania, as there are some amazing women who have caught the vision of Aglow and who are running with it with such passion. We have the great privilege to teach and train, and develop great leaders to really establish the work of Aglow in Romania.
